PANAMA CITY BEACH TO MARCH INTO THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS

The Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau is working with marketing firms StudentUniverse Media and Collegiate Marketing Group in order to set the Guinness World Record for the largest bikini parade.

The anticipated record will be set during Spring Break this coming March 6th in Panama City Beach, Florida. The Guinness Book of World Records will be present to make the record official. More than 357 women dressed in bikinis will be needed in order to break the record. The current record was set in October 2011 at the Surfer’s Paradise event, which took place in Australia’s Gold Coast.

In an interview with Panama City Beach’s The News Herald, Dan Rowe, president and CEO of the Panama City Beach CVB, said: “It’s a way for the students to come down and participate in a fun activity. It is something that is good clean fun.” (Read full article)
